For each game, you'll earn 5 points for correctly predicting the winning team and an extra 3 points if you get the right margin range too. Predicting a draw is worth 12 points if you dare to pick this result correctly.
Questions: For each Overall Question you get correct eg Winner of RWC or Winner of pool you will receive 20 or 10 points repectively. If a question is specific to a game eg Time of first try you will get 5 points for a correct answer. Deadlines for these questions are displayed on the Make picks page.
Bonus Games (team supported)
In each pool round, the game your supported team is playing in is deemed a Bonus game (games will be highlighted in yellow) on the Make Picks page. Correctly pick the winning team and margin of the bonus games and you’ll earn 10 points! If you correctly pick a draw on bonus game you get 16 points! Bonus games are not valid for computer selected random picks.
Team Supported Bonus games are not available in non-pool games – Quarter,Semi and Final games. Other bonus games may be selected by game organisers.
Make Your Picks
It couldn't be easier. When you log in, go from your personal home page straight to the Make Picks area where all you need to do is make one selection for winner and one for margin. Your options are to select either side to win by 1-10,11-20,21-30,31 points or more or a draw. The result of the game is based on the final result, so if extra time is required ,the score at the end of extra time will be the result. In the event a game is cancelled – no points will be awarded. You may jump to any round that has not happened yet and place picks for those games up until the deadline of each game.
Scoreboard
You can see what points you have scored each round by clicking on Scoreboard. The rounds are broken up into weeks of the year, with the current week displayed by default.
Team Supported
The team you support only affects the bonus game, which gives you a chance at scoring more points, that means each round people may have different bonus games. You select the team you want to support through the Competition Summary page or your profile. You can only change this up until the competition start - 19th September.
Cut off times
Editing your game picks is only allowed up until 1 hour before each game starts. The exact start dates and times are listed on the make your picks page. The current round will display by default. Once the game has reached the deadline it can no longer be changed. You may place picks or change any picks for any game up until the deadline. If you fail to place your picks by the cut-off time random picks may be placed for you. Bonus points can not be awarded for random picks
User/Team Names
The site organisers reserve the right to refuse to accept team names or player names that are felt in their sole opinion to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names will be deleted and replaced with the players name or something deemed appropriate, or removed completely.
Prizes To be eligible for prizes you must have a valid email address. You can only enter once.
